Will the parts be ordered for my repairs prior to me bringing the vehicle in?

Ideally the parts are ordered once we have determined the full scope of the repairs being done to your vehicle. In certain situations, additional damage may warrant additional parts being needed for the repairs. If there is any speculation on this matter, then it’s best for us to order all of the parts at the same time to be certain we have addressed all parts needed. If it’s certain that only the visibly damaged parts are all that will be needed, then we will certainly pre-order your parts to speed up the repair process.

If the frame is damaged on my vehicle is it going to be a total loss/how is a total loss determined?

If your vehicle is found to have any structural damage, this does not necessarily mean that is going to be a total loss. In most situations, a total loss is determined by the price of the repairs exceeding the insurance companies stated value of the vehicle. We utilize state-of-the-art computerized measuring systems as well as highly trained and experienced technicians to pinpoint and assist in correcting any structural damage. If the damaged structural component is damaged beyond repair, then we would replace the component.

Liability and who is determined to be at fault in an accident is determined by the accounts of those involved as well as any accident reports filed with the police department. If there is any uncertainty about the amount of your deductible, it’s best to speak with your agent and they can help you in understanding the amount.
